Rochester Opens, a d/b/a of Sniffy LLC ("we"), sends a weekly email about new and changing businesses around Rochester, NY. By signing up or paying, you agree to these terms.
The data
Everything in the digest comes from public records: New York State data (State Liquor Authority, Department of State, NYS Lottery, Department of Health, Office of Cannabis Management) published on data.ny.gov and health.data.ny.gov, and City of Rochester zoning cases. Food permit entries come from the NYS Department of Health and are not a rating or an inspection result. "Found online" lines come from automatic web searches and may be wrong. We sort it, filter it and add short notes. We don't control the source records and they can be late, incomplete or wrong. The digest is provided as-is, without any warranty, including any warranty that it is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Check anything important before you rely on it.
How you can use it
- For business-to-business marketing and sales prospecting only.
- You may not use it to make decisions about credit, insurance underwriting, employment, housing, or for any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Rochester Opens is not a consumer reporting agency.
- You may share it inside your own team (one person on Solo and Founding plans, up to 5 people at one company on the Team plan). You may not resell, republish or redistribute it outside that.
- Follow the laws that apply to your outreach, including do-not-call and email rules.
Trial, plans and renewal
The free trial lasts 28 days and needs no card. When it ends, the email stops unless you choose a plan.
Paid plans are Solo ($149/month), Team ($399/month, up to 5 people at one company) and, while it's offered, Founding member ($99/month, price locked while you stay subscribed). Plans renew automatically every month and your card is charged each month until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.
You can cancel any time online through the billing link at the bottom of every digest. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month and you keep getting the email until then. We don't give partial-month refunds unless the law requires it. If we change the price of your plan, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change.
Emails
Signing up means you get the weekly digest and account emails (welcome, trial ending, receipts). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Other things
We can change or stop the service. If we stop it, we'll refund the unused part of a paid month. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. These terms are governed by New York law.
